Dec. 06 Devlog #2


I'm making this post a few days later than intended, but I hope everyone's December is going well so far!

Progress for the extended demo is going alright! It's still a bit slow since I make a lot of my own assets, but it still seems to be in order to come out around the end of this month (if all continues to go well.)

While the extended demo won't be anything huge, players will get a chance to explore a bit more of the hospital. Plus, there will be some chances to talk with Ivan to get to know him better!
However, I've decided that the extended demo won't have too much story progression. I don't want players get too far into the story, only to have it all end (and then they'll have to do it all over again in the full release.)

So, the extended demo will mostly be to give players a better feel for Ivan, and maybe learn just a bit more about him. 
Players will also be able to explore the courtyard and giftshop, and part of the second floor.
Plus, I've been working on changing the menu! It's still a bit of a work in progress, but whatever I have done for the menu will be implemented into the game by the extended demo release.

However, I'm also trying to not add too much because I have plans to revamp some of the assets for the full release
(the sprites will be getting an overhaul, because I've been introduced to a plug-in that allows for more fluid movement. And my art has changed a little, so there is a chance I will at least update the busts.)
