Oct. 31 Devlog #1 (Happy Halloween!)

Sadly, this is not a massive announcement or anything, but I wanted to give everyone who is waiting for more Midnight Hour an idea of how the game is going.

After the last demo update I took a break for a couple of weeks, and after that I have been slowly working on adding things to the game. However, when I say “slowly” I do mean that it’s going slower than I would like.

I’ve mapped out the initial layout for the next floor and have a Game Over added, I’ve also been working a bit on adding some of the missing areas from the ground floor (i.e. the gift shop and courtyard, and I’m considering adding a few more accessible rooms to the patient room hallway.)

Hopefully within the next month or so I will have a couple more scenes added, and I should be able to have the extended demo out by the end of the year, which is about as I had planned.

However, I may have to push out the full release to summer or fall of 2026 instead of spring. Unfortunately, I’m still a slow at art and have quite a few CGs to make (on top of finishing some sprites and all of the busts for The Doctor.) But the full version should still be slated to come out next year, even if it’s a bit later on!

I’ll try to keep you all updated on the progress of the game. I should be able to continue to work on it fairly consistently, especially now that I’m going a bit slower with my YouTube channel than when I had started.
